The Electronic Law Consultancy Grows !
The Electronic Law Consultancy, now well into its second year of business, is in the pleasurable position of growing and we now have 2 new people at E Law.
Andrew Marshall, an admitted attorney, who also has the rare distinction of also being a programmer and having worked in IT, has joined the Electronic Law Consultancy, in addition to continuing to run his convincing practice.
On the media and administration side, E-law is also bringing on another person, Samantha Morgan. Sam has had a very varied background, dealing both in accounting and finance as well as the media industry. She worked for the gambling board as well as small, medium and large companies.
As we are seeing the field of electronic law growing and maturing, more businesses are coming to realise how important and the amount of risks that are involved in this field of law. The growth of e-commerce in South Africa has not been as fast as many would have liked, but still is very crucial. With this growth has come greater awareness of the security needs, which is why the Electronic Law Consultancy has invested so much time in security standards and specifically the security 17799 standard.
